Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for those wishing to move into the Medical Administration field and gain excellent knowledge, skills and confidence for this industry.  

Most people who undertake this course are one of the following: 
- mums preparing to re-enter the workforce 
- those ready for a career change 
- those currently in office administration work who need existing skills validated
- school leavers
- those who have completed our BSB31115 - Cert III in Business Admin (Medical), and are undertaking five units to gain a second qualification.

What does the course cover?
Successful completion of this course requires the fulfillment of 13 units of competency: 6 core units and 7 elective units.   Four of these units are medical-specific and the remaining nine units relate to administration including computer skills, communication, organisation skills, WHS and more.

Delivery Mode
This qualification is delivered online and with our blended mode.  "Blended mode" involves a mix of both online and class learning.  If you choose to undertake this qualification online, you can start anytime and you have 12 months to complete.  If you wish to undertake this using our Blended Mode, ten (10) of the units are delivered online and you have three (3) class sessions.  Contact us to find out class dates.

Fees
This qualification is yet to be approved for Certificate 3 Guarantee subsidies.  If approved, the following fees apply:
- Eligible as a concessional learner (C) - $450.00
- Eligible as a non-conc learner (NC) - $520.00
- Not eligible for subsidies - full fee - $2,475.00.

To be eligible you must:
1. Not hold or be currently undertaking a certificate III or higher-level qualification.
2. Be 15 years of age or older
3. Have finished secondary school or left school
4. Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident residing in Queensland, or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland.


Support 
We support you throughout your learning experience and your trainer/assessor is available within working hours to support you if you do not understand.  We pride ourselves on the level of support we offer.  All our trainers and assessors are qualified with the most current TAE qualifications and are industry-experienced professionals who have worked in business and office administration environments.   ​ 

Entry requirements
In order to undertake this course you will need basic computer skills, access to a computer, printer and internet. Adequate literacy and numeracy skills are also required.

Credit Transfers for other qualifications
After successful completion of this qualification, you will automatically gain nine (9) credit transfers towards our BSB30120 - Certificate III in Business and BSB30120 - Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) specialisation.
